Kaitaia is a small town located in the Far North of New Zealand and just inland from Ahipara where hikers leave Ninety Mile Beach. Shops, accommodation and PAK’n’SAVE are located just a short walk off the trail into town. This is where I would recommend doing your first resupply before heading into the next section of trail.
