The nickname "Batman Mountain" is due to its resemblance to the Batman logo when viewed from a certain angle. The Vestrahorn Mountain is a popular destination for photographers. It is part of the Stokksnes.

Stokksnes is privately owned and an entrance fee is charged to enter the beach. And thus to admire the Vestrahorn mountain. You can buy your ticket at the Viking Cafe and you will pay 900 ISK per person. (about €5.50)
