The craziest thing we've found along the coastal path so far... The Brickworks at Porth Wen in Anglesey.

This Victorian brickworks sits in a secluded cove on the Northern side of the island. With beautiful clear waters and an abundance of old buildings, machinery and ruins to explore it was an absolute playground for the kids (although admittedly a slightly dangerous one - please take care with little ones exploring this spot)

I was surprised how interested the kids were in the history of the buildings and what all the different machines did, so we had a real good explore around each area before dropping onto the pebble beach for some snacks and rock pooling.

It took us around 30 minutes to walk to this cove (with children aged 3-10). Most of the walk is along a coastal path with a gentle slope but the access to the brickworks is steep and can get muddy.
