A wellness-focused hot spring resort located in the Thanh Tan area, around 30 minutes from Hue. Thanh Tan Hot Spring by Fusion is designed around thermal pools, relaxation, and nature, making it a very different experience from staying in the city.

The resort is spread out and centred around hot spring facilities and outdoor spaces, so it suits families who are happy to slow down and spend time onsite rather than sightseeing each day.

From our experience, the resort felt primarily geared towards local Vietnamese travellers, rather than international tourists. We were some of the only Caucasian guests during our stay, and breakfast options leaned more local than western, which is worth keeping in mind if your kids are very selective eaters.

Rooms:

Room configurations are either 2 single beds or 1 queen bed. Our family of four (2 adults and 2 kids) were able to book a single room, which is fairly common for Vietnamese-style travel where children often share beds with parents.

The room itself was very nice, but with our family setup our younger child slept in bed with us and our older child slept on the floor with extra blankets. There was no cot provided during our stay.

If you'd prefer a little extra space, make sure to book 2 rooms.
