The Sanctuary of Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza in Calasparra is a unique pilgrimage site nestled inside a natural cave. Visitors are greeted by two figures representing the Virgen de la Esperanza, "la Pequeñica" and "la Grande," without any entrance fee. The sanctuary's location, sculpted by the River Segura over time, adds to its charm and mystery. Legend has it that the Virgin chose to stay there, making it a place of faith, history, and unexpected beauty in the heart of Calasparra.
