Choo Choos in Port Douglas is hands down my fave spot for coffee, brekkie, and lunch in Port Douglas - it’s got such a cool energy, and the food is next level. Seriously, the tacos and squid are so yum, you’ll be dreaming about them long after. We've celebrated a few birthdays here over the years, so I can also confirm the morning cocktails are delicious haha
Plus, the fact it’s all served out of an old train carriage? Iconic. It’s quirky, relaxed, and buzzing with good energy.
Getting there is also stunning - there’s a beautiful walk along the waterfront that makes it feel like a mini adventure. If you’re not up for the stroll, parking is super easy too, so no stress. It’s a popular spot (with good reason), so you might want to plan your visit outside the peak brekkie rush if you don’t want to wait.
It’s pet-friendly as well, so bring your furry mate and snag a spot outside while you soak up the views and tuck into some of the tastiest food in Port Douglas.
