How to Get There

There are quite a few airlines offering direct flights to Zanzibar. One of the most popular ones are - AirFrance, KLM, flydubai, and Turkish Airlines. I have also put together a map with the current direct flight routes to Zanzibar to help you plan your visit more easily. There are no direct flights from the U.S. to Zanzibar, so you'll typically have one or two layovers.​

Bonus tip:

In case you need to take a connecting flight to Zanzibar, I highly recommend looking into flydubai flights with a transit in Dubai as they operate multiple flights throughout the day to Zanzibar daily. Another good option is layover via Istanbul with Turkish airlines.
