The La Sal Mountains are an impressive mountain range located in Grand and San Juan counties in Utah. These mountains make up the Manti-La Sal National Forest and are part of the southern Rocky Mountains. The peak of the mountain is Mount Peale, reaching 12,721 feet above sea level.
