Hakusan Natural Arch, located near Cape Ashizuri in Tosashimizu, is a massive granite sea-eroded cave that will leave you in awe. It's the largest of its kind in Japan, with waves crashing through its 16m high and 17m wide opening. You can reach it via a scenic nature trail, but watch your step on the steep, uneven stairs. The arch is considered a deity, and a shrine dedicated to it sits above. Don't miss the chance to see the heart shape and the mysterious woman's face in the rock face above the center of the arch. And if you want a different view, head to the John Manjiro Foot Bath for a relaxing soak with a stunning backdrop.
