Hafragilsfoss Waterfall is a stunning natural wonder located in North East Iceland, known for its impressive 30-meter drop and 90-meter width. Situated within Vatnajökull National Park, it's the second largest waterfall on the Jökulsárgljúfur canyon, just a stone's throw away from the mighty Dettifoss.

Accessible from both sides from viewing platforms or you can also hike down, however the trail can be a bit sketchy and challenging at some places.

Winter : Note that the road 864 on the east side of the river is more rough and isn't being maintained in the winter.
