Emerald Bay State Park offers unparalleled outdoors experiences that are sure to please. From camping at the Ruby Point and Boat-In campsites, to hiking or biking around the lake with scenic views of the Sierra Nevada mountains, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Boaters can explore Fannette Island, located within Emerald Bay on the west shore of Lake Tahoe, and scuba divers can dive right in as they check out the Maritime Heritage Underwater Trail--a trail devoted to showcasing Lake Tahoe's historic recreational watercraft and barges. Can't forget about the four-legged friends; dogs are allowed within the two campgrounds only, so you won't have to leave them behind! Whether you're looking for an adventurous day, or just the chance to relax and take in the beauty of nature, a trip to Emerald Bay State Park is sure to deliver.
