Most first-timers don’t realise this is one of the best viewpoints in the ancient area. It feels calmer than the Forum below and gives amazing photo angles. Since it’s part of the same ticket, it’s worth adding while you’re nearby.

Tip: Wear good shoes as paths are uneven and rocky.
