Faro Punta Higueras — also known as the Rincón Lighthouse or Faro de Punta Higuero — is a historic lighthouse originally built in 1892, perched on a dramatic bluff at the northwestern tip of Rincón overlooking the point where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Caribbean Sea.

Surrounded by a beautifully maintained park with sweeping panoramic views of the coastline, the surf breaks below, and the open ocean, it is one of the most visited and photographed landmarks in all of western Puerto Rico. The grounds are a beloved gathering spot for sunset watching, with visitors spreading out on the grass as the sky erupts in color over the horizon — making it as much a living community space as a piece of preserved history.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
