In Brodick on the Isle of Arran, Arran Chocolate Factory is a lovely little stop if you’ve got a sweet tooth. They make handcrafted chocolates right in front of you, with everything from classic truffles to seasonal specials and gift boxes. It’s open during the main daytime hours (with some seasonal variation), and you can often see production happening behind the scenes. I love it — it’s one of those places that feels nostalgic and indulgent in equal measure, and it’s very hard to leave empty-handed.
