Werri Beach is this underrated gem on the South Coast, tucked in Gerringong (just 10 km south of Kiama) it's got gentle waves for beginners up north, bigger swells for pros at the point, and epic views of the escarpment.

But what I (Mia) loved the most was the little man made rock pool at the southern end. It's the perfect place to sit and watch the surfers! At high tide, the waves lap the edges and at low tide it sits out all on it's own.

If you are wanting to have a decent swim then there is also another bigger ocean pool about 20m away!
