This is a full day moderate hike to the Vinciguerra Glacier and its ice caves. This is a trek that you can do without a guide but if you want the opportunity to enter the ice caves or walk on the glacier then book this excursion to go with a guide. Do not attempt to go inside the caves or onto the ice without a guide for obvious safety reasons.
The hike begins in the Andorra Valley, crossing peat bogs and going along the river. You'll then ascend through a forest until the tree line, where you'll hike the final slope to the glacier.
If going on the guided excursion you'll enjoy a lunch and optional walk on the glacier (available in summer). The hike is moderate but due to length does require good physical condition.
