From the waterfall, we continued to Akureyri, a vibrant northern town known for its colorful houses, botanical gardens, and lively harbor. Strolling through the town center, we admired the quaint streets, cafés, and boutiques. Akureyri offered a brief but welcome pause from the day’s natural explorations, giving us a taste of Icelandic urban charm amidst our adventure.
