Mau Feitio is a tiny, off-the-radar coastal spot in Madeira, so expect narrow, winding roads and very limited parking; a car is the easiest way to get there. There are probably no cafes, toilets or lifeguards, so bring water, snacks and sun protection and wear sturdy shoes for uneven volcanic rock if you want to explore the shore or any natural pools. Swimming can be risky because of waves and currents, so only go in if conditions are calm and you are confident. It is best for a short, peaceful photo stop or a quiet shoreline walk, and you should be respectful of private property and local signage.
