The Sistelo Passadiços Trail itself is small, only about 2 km long. However, they are located on the Ecovia do Vez, which allows the walk to be extended to an impressive 32 km that can be covered either on foot or by bicycle.

Of course, for those who want to travel on foot, the 32 km of Ecovia do Vez is somewhat excessive. In our opinion, the most balanced option is to start from the Vilela Medieval Bridge and then head towards Aldeia do Sistelo (of course, you can also do it in the opposite direction). In total you will travel 11 km, which could be 22 km if you want to do a round trip.

As the name suggests, the trail almost always follows the banks of the River Vez along paths and fantastic walkways. Along the way you will cross forests and medieval bridges, see hermitages, chapels and granaries and superb natural landscapes. And of course, this trail has no shortage of waterfalls or opportunities to go swimming.

For those who have little time available, are not in good physical condition and are traveling with small children, the best option is to stick to the Trilho dos Passadiços do Sistelo .The route begins and ends in the center of Aldeia do Sistelo, it is only about 2 km long, it is circular, it is very well marked and there are no major differences in level (you will only have to make a small descent and a small climb).
