When driving up the Vršič pass road, there's a small parking space where the hiking trail leads to Krnica valley. After a short hike that crosses a small stream, there's a viewpoint with a small mountain hut and a road leading up to the surrounding mountains. The valley only gets direct sunlight later in the day, and in the morning there's low lying mists creating a beautiful athmosphere.
