Palm Beach on Waiheke Island is easily one of the most stunning beaches in the Auckland Region. It's loved for its soft white sand, crystal-clear waters, and laid-back vibe. It is a favourite for locals and visitors (like me!) looking to soak up some sun!

Getting there is very easy. If you’ve got a car, it’s just a quick 5-minute drive from Oneroa. But if you’re like me and love to walk, it’s an easy 1-hour hike along the coast from the Matiatia Ferry Terminal.

There aren’t any shops in Palm Beach, so pack everything you’ll need for the day (snacks, water, sunscreen, and a good book). That said if you forget anything, Palm Beach town or Oneroa shops aren’t too far away.
