For a more active Telegraph Cove experience, consider a kayaking adventure. This five hour guided kayak trip offers a chance to explore Johnstone Strait in a much more eco-friendly (and quiet) way.

Learn about the abundant marine life in this area and potentially see humpback whales, orcas, black bears, seals, sea lions, otters, dolphins and more! (sightings of large marine mammals not guaranteed)

Compared to a Zodiac or boat tour, you'll get a better insight into the intricacies of the intertidal zone and see smaller creatures and plants. Kayaking is, of course, a lot more active as well but still very approachable for first timers.
