Located just a little bit off our Route 66, you can visit Abraham Lincoln's final resting place. The locals told us this is a must see place when visiting Springfield and we are so glad we took their recommendation. Upon showing up, we silently walked into Lincolns Tomb where we read some of his most inspirational speeches and paid our respects to this famous American President. P.S...Don't forget to rub Lincolns bronze nose for good luck!
