Start the day going to Geirfugl, it's a great thing to watch especially if you go there when the sun is coming out. After that go visit Árbæjarsafn to learn how Icelanders lived in the past.

From there you take a hike in Elliðaárdalur and you end the day soaking up in the man made beach that also has a hot tub.

Additionally you could go to Þúfa which is artwork and Kvika which is a free footbath on the shore.
