There are two ways that you can reach this view point. The easy one is from the small village Nordradalur. Park the car close to the gate, but don't park in the middle of the road because farmers work there.

Look at the cliffs in the corner and you will see a waterfall. You need to walk to the waterfall, when you know you are on the right trek. Once you reach the waterfall you should see a path, just take it and go up. Once you arrive at the top, you will see a lake surrounded by mountains. The view from up there is breathtaking by the way.

Go left and hike up until you reach cliffs. From up there you will see Vágar island.
