What to expect
Most of the journey is inside of a tunnel deep in the mountain. On the way up, the train stops for 5 mins at the Eismeer stop, allowing passengers a very short break to enjoy the view of the glacier through windows.
The last stop is Jungfraujoch, which drops you at an underground train station below the visitor center.

The train runs every 30 mins. The full one-way journey is 44 mins. Check timetable on SBB.ch or JungfrauRegion.ch
If you start in Lauterbrunnen or Wengen, you will board this train at Kleine Scheidegg.
If you start in Grindelwald Terminal, you will board this train at Eigergletscher.
Tickets
Most visitors will purchase a round trip ticket to the Jungfraujoch, starting in either Lauterbrunnen or Grindelwald Terminal. This ticket would include the Jungfraubahn, which is the last part of the journey.

If you hiked to Kleine Scheidegg, you can purchase tickets to Jungfraujoch at the ticket office next to the train.
Seat reservations are recommended. Reserve seats here. It gives you priority boarding and guaranteed seat, but not a specific seat or seats together with your group. We suggest 2 hours at the top.
