This impressive viewpoint is a short and easy walk (about 8 mins) from the Rochers de Naye mountain train station (see location on map).
It's a well-defined path of dirt, gravel and stones, suitable for even non-hikers. It's a good alternative to the observation deck, if you feel that steep climb is a bit too much.
It leads to a fenced viewpoint looking over the cliffs. It's a great place to take pics of the Rochers de Naye peak with the lake in view.
If you like hiking, you can continue past this viewpoint on a rocky dirt path that goes further down the ridge. But the terrain is very uneven on this part with steep slopes to the side. So only for those with steady footing and a head for heights.
In either case, return the way you came to the mountain train station.
How to get there:
Ride the mountain train from Montreux to Rochers-de-Naye (learn more). The path starts from the restaurant terrace above the station.
