Where to stay!

We highly recommend you staying in Canmore over Banff. It is a nearby town, only 20 minutes away from Banff. It is much quieter and you're able to find places to stay much easier and at a cheaper price. We loved our stay in Canmore as there were no busy streets and it had everything we needed. We stayed at a cute little AirBnB and had no issues.

Parking does become an issue in Banff so if you plan on parking in Banff town, we recommend reaching as early as possible to get parking spots. There is also a ROAM Transit bus that runs every 20-30 minutes from different spots in Canmore, dropping you to downtown Banff.
