Takakkaw Falls in Yoho National Park is a must-see in the Canadian Rockies. It's one of the tallest waterfalls in Canada, and standing at 373 meters tall, it's a sight to behold. It only takes a short accesible walk (1.2km roundtrip) to reach the falls and feel its mist on your face! The closer you get, the more mist will get on you, so wear a rain jacket if you dont want to get wet.
It is only open in summer.
We have never seen a waterfall this majestic! The road to the falls is also beautiful but is narrow in some bits so just be cautious while driving here! You can here the thunder of the falls long before you can spot it. There are lots of parking spots but this is a fairly popular spot! There are picnic tables and washrooms here too!
