Extras: There's a long road that leads up the hall that is perfect for scooters and bikes. You can also park near Wigan Hospital if feel adventurous and walk through the grounds to the park (be aware that this is at least 40 minutes each way and maybe too much for little ones)

Additional costs: There's a cute pottery painting shop upstairs in the courtyard - you can also get your parking for free if you visit here. Occasionally, they have fairground rides during half-terms.
