Litlanesfoss is a stunning two-tier waterfall located in the East, renowned for its impressive hexagonal basalt columns. It's about half way up (about 1.2km / 0.7 miles) towards Hengfoss waterfall.

  • What it is: A small but beautiful waterfall on the way to Hengifoss, East Iceland.

  • Best season: Summer/fall (for the most power in the waterfall).
