If you are looking for my absolute favorite spot to enjoy the Ischian sea, Bagno Di Iorio is the place. Located on the stunning Maronti beach, it’s a corner of paradise where relaxation and great food meet the crystal clear Mediterranean.
Part of the charm is how you arrive! You have two great options:
By Sea: Take a charming Taxi Boat for a scenic ride directly to the shore.
By Land: Drive down and leave your car at the Olympus Parking, then enjoy a short, pleasant walk to the establishment.
Di Iorio isn't just about sunbathing. During the summer, they set up Paddleboards (SUP) right in the water. You can lounge on them for some "floating relaxation" or rent one to explore the beautiful coastline at your own pace. It’s the perfect way to feel at one with the sea.
The kitchen here is fantastic, and I have two non negotiable recommendations for your lunch:
Fritto Misto: Crispy, fresh, and perfectly light the gold standard of seaside dining.
Friggitelli: These local sautéed green peppers are a must try side dish that tastes like an Ischian summer.
Whether you’re there for a long lunch or a day of paddling, the vibe is effortlessly chill. It’s the kind of place where time slows down and the only thing that matters is the sound of the waves
