A popular attraction in the area is Kameido Tenjin—a shrine famously visited by students and parents alike in the hope of getting good grades.

By virtue of being a little further from central Tokyo, it’s home to a lot of large format retailers. Outside the North Exit you’ll find Mujirushi Ryohin, UNIQLO and Don Quijote stores. Outside the East Exit you’ll find electronics retailer Yamada Denki as well as Toys’R’Us within the Sunstreet Kameido Shopping Center.
