Miradouro da Ponta do Rosto is a spectacular viewpoint on the São Lourenço Peninsula, offering panoramic views of Madeira’s rugged eastern cliffs and the Atlantic Ocean. It’s one of the island’s best sunrise spots, with golden light illuminating the red and green volcanic rock formations. Located right off the road, it’s an easy stop before or after hiking the PR8 trail and provides some of the most dramatic coastal scenery on Madeira.
