The Vereda da Ponta de São Lourenço (PR8) is one of Madeira's most spectacular and popular coastal hikes, stretching along the easternmost tip of the island. This trail showcases a striking contrast of arid, volcanic terrain against the deep blue Atlantic, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Desertas Islands and Porto Santo on clear days.
