Kings Canyon is hands down our favourite hike in all of Australia! With its dramatic red rock formations and towering sandstone cliffs, it offers breathtaking views that light up on sunrise and are hard to forget.
We completed the Rim Walk, a challenging but rewarding trek that takes them around the canyon's edge, providing panoramic vistas of the surrounding landscape. Along the way, they can marvel at the lush Garden of Eden, a permanent waterhole surrounded by ancient cycads and vibrant flora.
The area is rich in Aboriginal culture, with local Indigenous stories and traditions woven into the landscape. Travelers can learn about the significance of the land and its history, adding depth to their visit.
