The Kennedy Walking Track is a great coastal stroll in the Cassowary Coast, kicking off from South Mission Beach. This easy-moderate walk (4km one-way, 1-1.5 hours) snakes through lush rainforest, mangrove swamps and palm-fringed beaches.

Make sure to keep your eye out for a cassowary (mostly seen in the early mornings or late afternoons)!
