Narooma, a laid-back coastal gem on New South Wales' far south coast, is renowned for its wild seals—primarily Australian fur seals that chill out on rocky breakwalls, turning everyday shores into a living spectacle. The seals weigh up to 200 kg with soulful brown eyes, migrated here in the 1990s from Bass Strait breeding grounds and now form a resident colony of 50-100, basking, barking, and playfully diving amid the Wagonga Inlet and bar crossing.
