Mossman Gorge is a must-see in the Daintree region! Just outside of Mossman, this spot is packed with crystal-clear waterholes, massive granite boulders, and lush rainforest that feels straight out of a movie. You can wander the easy walking tracks through the Daintree Rainforest, take a refreshing dip in the gorge (watch out for the strong current), or join a guided Dreamtime walk with the local Kuku Yalanji people to learn about their deep connection to the land.

The gorge is part of the Daintree National Park, and access is through the Mossman Gorge Centre, where you can grab a feed, check out local art, and jump on the shuttle bus to the walking tracks. It’s open daily from 8am to 6pm, with shuttle tickets around $14 for adults and $7 for kids. Whether you’re chasing a swim, a rainforest walk, or a bit of culture, Mossman Gorge is one of those places that captures the magic of Far North Queensland perfectly!
