Horse Head Rock is a unique natural formation located along the stunning coastline of New South Wales, Australia. This iconic rock structure gets its name from its resemblance to a horse's head, making it a popular spot for photographers and nature lovers.

Nestled near the small town of Bermagui, the rock is surrounded by beautiful beaches and clear blue waters, perfect for a day out.

The sunrises here can be absolutely magical, casting vibrant colors across the sky and reflecting off the water.

It is about a 10 minute rock scramble past the 'camel rock' formation. Make sure to visit on on low tide and give yourself enough time to walk back before the tide rises.

If you are not up for a rock scramble/the tides aren't in your favourite, you can hike the trail to the Horse Head Rock lookout. It is about a 2km return easy hike.
