The Ochre Pits, located in Australia, are a stunning natural site known for their vibrant colours and cultural significance. These pits have been used by Indigenous Australians for thousands of years as a source of ochre, which is a natural clay pigment. The rich reds, yellows, and browns found here are not just beautiful; they hold deep meaning in Aboriginal culture, often used in ceremonies and art.

It is a short 500 m return, 20-30 minutes walk.
