The Jumrum Creek Walking Track is a lovely little rainforest walk right in the heart of Kuranda. It’s an easy, peaceful stroll that winds through lush tropical forest, the barron river and has plenty of birdlife along the way! The track follows Jumrum Creek and has a few small bridges and lookout points where you can stop to take it all in.
The walk is only about 1.2km one way (around 30 minutes return), so it’s perfect for a quick nature fix before or after exploring the markets. You can start the walk from near the village centre, making it an easy add-on to your day out in Kuranda!
