The Big Marble is a public art installation on the Beresford Foreshore in Geraldton called Horizon. The sculpture is a large, clear acrylic sphere (about 1.5 metres in diameter), hollow and filled with roughly 1,800 litres of water.

It acts like a lens or inverted view: you can see the surroundings and the horizon reflected/inverted in the sphere, which makes it especially photogenic.

We recommend arriving about 30 minutes before sunset but keep in mind it is a tourist hotspot so it will get busy.
