Wallaman Falls, located in Girringun National Park, is Australia's tallest permanent single-drop waterfall, plunging 268 metres into the lush rainforest below. The Djyinda Walk Trail offers an immersive experience, taking hikers from the top of the falls to the base, providing a unique perspective of this natural wonder.

Details:

  • Distance: 3.2 km return

  • Duration: Approximately 1.5 to 2 hours

  • Difficulty: Moderate to challenging

  • Elevation Gain: Approximately 238 metres

  • Trail Type: Out-and-back

There is also a great campground right next to the falls for $14.50/night - you can find it on wiki camps!
