Mungalli Creek Falls is another one of those peaceful little spots tucked away in the lush Tablelands region. It’s a prime place to pull up, stretch the legs, and take in some proper rainforest magic. The walk down to the falls is short and easy, surrounded by ferns and the sound of running water the whole way. When you reach the lookout, you’re met with a stunning drop into a rocky gorge which is seriously beautiful after a bit of rain. It’s quiet, green, and feels a world away from everything because you'll likely be the only ones there! We were even lucky enough to spot an illusive platypus swimming along the creek banks, so be sure to keep a keen eye out!
