Shell Beach Rock Pool is a hidden gem tucked away in Innes National Park, offering a secluded and picturesque swimming spot. Accessible via a short walk from the campground, this rock pool is perfect for a refreshing dip on a hot day. With crystal-clear waters and marine life to explore, it's a must-visit destination for those seeking a unique swimming experience off the beaten path.

To get there:

  • Make sure it is low tide and swell

  • From the car park, take the track down to the beach. Once you reach the beach, walk to the right (east) end of Shell Beach.

  • You’ll need to scramble over some rocks and walk along the bay’s edge until you reach a rocky point. The rock pool is tucked in among granite rocks near that point.
