If you are looking for a free and dog friendly alternative to Mossman Gorge, then look no further! We spent the entire afternoon around here, there are multiple swimming places to pull off the road and explore! Miley absolutely frothed her time here fetching sticks in the shallow water! (see videos) hahah

This shallow river bed is only a 5 minute drive from Mossman. Once you have arrived in Mossman, drive onto Syndicate Road and make a left onto Finlayvale Road, towards the Silky Oaks Lodge. When on Finlayvale Road, make sure to keep an eye out for the waterholes which will be on your left hand side!
