Penong Caravan Park in South Australia is one of the most remote caravan parks in Australia. It is a great place to camp if visiting Lake MacDonnell, Cactus Beach or if you are just about to embark on the Nullarbor.

With friendly owners, clean amenities and spacious sites, this park was great! It is also opposite the Windmill Museum.

Over our entire journey we have only stayed in about 5 caravan parks and this was one of them. We were impressed with their prices and we were also in need of water (very hard to find around this area) so we were stoked to find this camp!

We enjoyed the cheapest (and biggest) oysters we've ever had from the IGA in Ceduna.

Fees: Unpowered $22 for one person or $32 for two

Powered $28 for one or $38 for two
