The Kuranda rainforest markets are a must do experience in the heart of Kuranda village. The Original Rainforest Markets, established in 1978 by local artists and craftspeople, started as a humble spot to sell handmade goods and foster community. Today, they’re a vibrant hub where you wander under tin-roofed stalls surrounded by tropical rainforest, exploring handmade crafts, Indigenous art, jewellery, fresh local produce, cafes and restaurant all while enjoying live music and unique vibes.
