The Mulberry Hotel in Tashkent offers cozy accommodations. They speak fluent English at the front desk. We got lost looking at an encyclopedia on Uzbek art, crafts and antiques. We were pampered to the very end!

It is one of the newest stations in the city's subway system. Opened in 2001, Bodomzor station is less decadent than those that opened in the 1970s, but it remains an impressive structure. The ceiling adorned with geometric patterns and the modern lighting system give the spacious waiting areas an almost futuristic feel. We felt like we were in a science fiction movie!

Plov in Uzbekistan is a legendary dish that celebrates the country's culinary identity with taste and simplicity. Prepared with rice, onions, carrots, meat, and raisins cooked together in a large cauldron called a kazan, it is a culinary masterpiece. Traditionally cooked by men, oshpaz experts prepare large quantities for special occasions.

For an authentic and affordable experience, the Centre of Plov in Tashkent offers the best Plov. Pair it with green tea or a local soft drink called "mojito" for a delicious and memorable meal! The only advice we feel we can give you is to come here before 1:30 pm otherwise it is sold out.

Fun fact: Plov is cooked everywhere, even in cotton fields and weddings.

Tradizionalmente cucinato dagli uomini, gli esperti oshpaz ne preparano grandi quantità per occasioni speciali.

Per un'esperienza autentica e conveniente, il Centre of Plov a Tashkent offre il miglior Plov. Accompagnalo con tè verde o una bevanda analcolica locale chiamata "mojito" per un pasto delizioso e memorabile! L'unico consiglio che ci sentiamo di darvi è quello di venire quì prima delle 13:30 altrimenti è tutto esaurito.

We happened upon it by chance, but it is always worth it: the style is Russian architecture! Minor Station is undoubtedly a hidden gem that should definitely be seen.

Gafur Gulom station is named after one of Tashkent's most distinguished intellectuals. He is known for translating works by Pushkin, Mayakovski and Shakespeare into Uzbek. Gulom is considered one of Uzbekistan's most influential writers. The station is distinguished by green granite columns that echo the colors of the mosaics on the walls.

The Alisher Navoi station is dedicated to the Muslim poet Alisher Navoi, which is really beautiful. The platform is surrounded by tall columns and a symmetrical domed ceiling decorated with floral patterns. The walls show scenes inspired by the poet's 15th-century stories. It looks like a really lovely place. We loved it!

Pakhtakor Station celebrates Uzbekistan's cotton industry with mosaics of cotton plants and elegant marble columns. It is a fine tribute to the country's economy. The new government has promised to reform the forced labor system.

It is one of the most luxurious in the network, built mainly of marble blocks from the Kizil Kum desert in western Uzbekistan. Glass columns and chandeliers greeted us as we waited for the blue trains. The floor of the Mustaqillik maydoni station is decorated with star patterns symbolizing the achievements of Soviet space explorers. In the past, Independence Square was known as Lenin Square during the Soviet era, but after the fall of the USSR it was renamed Mustakillik Maydoni. Today the square hosts festivals and national celebrations throughout the year and is surrounded by imposing modern government buildings.

Although this station is not particularly beautiful or special compared to other subway stations, we liked the perfectly symmetrical design of the lobby and the blue and red glass patterns in the marble columns. We particularly liked the delicate gold chandeliers that illuminated the station.

The station with a very wide underground passage covers the entire Amir Temur Square, and in the station itself there is a transition to another subway line. Definitely worth a visit!

Once one of Central Asia's leading hotels, it is now a fascinating and photographed example of the impressive Soviet Brutalist architecture. The Uzbekistan Hotel is located on Amir Timur Square. It is a 17-story building that has stood majestically and dominated the area with its commanding presence, next to the statue of the legendary commander, since the 1970s. If you want to take a memorable photo, approach the base of this imposing structure to fully perceive its size and iconic fame. We believe that you cannot find a more Soviet building than this one. According to legend, every room in this hotel was once bugged!

L'Hotel Uzbekistan è situato sulla Piazza di Amir Timur. Se volete scattare una foto memorabile, avvicinativi alla base di questa struttura imponente per percepirne appieno le dimensioni e la sua fama iconica. Crediamo che non si possa trovare un edificio più sovietico di questo. Secondo la leggenda ogni stanza di questo hotel un tempo era dotata di cimici!

The Statue of Amir Timur is an imposing representation of the great Emir Tamerlane, located in the heart of the city. Timur is a national hero in Uzbekistan, revered after the fall of the Soviet regime. His statue and tomb are places of great historical and cultural significance in the country.

Opened in 2021, the amusement park is truly a gem for all ages. We arrived around 6 pm and the sun was setting, which created a magical atmosphere, turning every corner of the park into a postcard-worthy scene. From the tulip-adorned lake to the majestic castle tower and the enchanted atmosphere of Tashkent, every detail was perfect for taking wonderful photos.

We took advantage of the evening to enjoy a delicious ice cream and browse the shops in the park. But the real magic exploded when the park lit up at night, showcasing cartoonish and fantastical European architecture con Without having a precise plan, we let ourselves be guided by the beauty of the attractions and had a great time.
